This isn’t arestaurant chain recipe.

Everything on the menu comes out of Maria’s own kitchen — the same shrimp cocktails and birria she’s been making for her family for over 20 years, just bigger batches. We’re licensed to cook and sell from home, and we keep it small on purpose: fresh salsa, fresh masa, shrimp that came in that morning.

Our story

Welcome toMaria’s Cocina.

Maria’s Cocina was born from a love for food, family, culture, and bringing people together around the table.

What started in my home kitchen grew into something much bigger than I ever imagined. Every dish is inspired by the flavors and traditions I grew up with — food made from scratch, using fresh ingredients, handmade tortillas, and recipes filled with love and memories.

Maria’s Cocina is more than just a place to get a meal. It’s a little piece of home.

As a licensed home kitchen, I have the opportunity to share authentic Mexican food in a more personal and meaningful way. Whether you’re picking up dinner for your family, gathering with friends, or celebrating a special occasion, my goal is to make you feel welcomed, cared for, and connected.

I believe food has a way of bringing people together. It can remind us of where we came from, create new memories, and turn an ordinary day into something special.

Birria de Res

Beef slow-cooked in a dried-chile broth until tender, served with consommé for dipping and a side of tortillas.

Aguachile Nayarita

Raw shrimp marinated in lime and serrano, mixed with cucumber and red onion. Cold, zesty, and slightly spicy, just like on the beaches back home.

Pozole Rojo

Hominy and pork in red chile broth, accompanied by cabbage, radish, and lime for your personal touch. A Sunday favorite, available anytime.

We’ll bring the kitchen to your party.

Quinceañeras, backyard birthdays, office lunches, holiday get-togethers — Maria’s catered all of them. Tell us your headcount and what you’re craving (tacos by the tray, a birria bar, full plates) and we’ll put a menu and price together for you. Give us a few days’ notice for anything over 20 people.
